The Queen Mary, now a hotel and shopping spot located in Long Beach Ca. We start here in Long beach and first stop is Puerto Vallarta (whale watching), Mazatlán (cooking experience), and lastly Cabo San Lucas

Most sea days we don’t get up till 9:30 or 10 and we go down for brunch which is served in the main dining room. I took this with my phone leaning on a nearby table.

Of course this is two days after Long Beach

This is not what we expected…a rubber speedboat. We have been on whale watching tours before and it was on a double decker boat with real seats and no wearing of the lifejackets.

We saw these boats whipping around before we got to the dock and vowed, we would never get on one of them. I had to ditch the hat or lose it. I shared this photo, and I got this back, “you guys are on the 5-yard line of life what are you doing on a speedboat!!” …. Whale Watching, LOL

Barrel roll?

Here they come!

And there they are.

I shot this from the ship after we got back from whale watching, this is exactly where we boarded. You can bet there was some serious discussion as to whether we forfeit the money and not get on or take a shot, oh well YOLO.

As the sun sets and the last few people return from their excursions, we bid farewell to Puerto Vallarta.

We tried out the cooking experience in Mazatlán, it was somewhat interesting, but I don’t think we will be going down that road again. We did make empanadas and pressed some flour tortillas

touring the back of the restaurant.

Mazatlán

Lunch at the cooking experience was great!

A little work going at the far end can you see the top of the mountain if not, next photo please…..

That’s a climb I would have love to do…around 50 years ago.

Early arrival and the tenders are already waiting

Well right now there is a issue, seems I have misplaced some of my photos of Cabo. I know I did more than 2. uh check back maybe I will locate them.

We are back in Long Beach and its early
